Behind the name "Chesed Center Ashkelon" stands an entire world of giving. Every person – whether poor, lonely, an exhausted soldier, an unsupported elderly individual, or a family in crisis – finds here an open door, a listening ear, and a hot meal. Our work is carried out quietly yet powerfully, supported by a wide logistics network, dozens of volunteers, and one clear vision: No Jew in Ashkelon should go to sleep hungry, alone, or forgotten.

Weekly Food Distribution and Daily Hot Meals
Hundreds of families, elderly individuals, and people in need receive regular food packages and hot meals delivered directly to their homes. Our logistics center distributes customized food packages with fresh produce, dry goods, and dairy products.

Holiday Assistance
Beautiful holiday packages for Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, Purim with massive Kimcha D'Pischa campaigns, gifts for the needy, Mishloach Manot, and more. Hundreds of families receive premium packages including meat, wine, matzah, and other essentials.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Celebrations
A complete support program for children from needy families including learning, values-based preparation, ceremony at the Kotel or event hall, and an unforgettable dream celebration. Each child receives personal mentoring, study materials, and festive clothing.

Community Torah Study
Daily and weekly classes for men and women of all ages and backgrounds, creating a vibrant learning community. Topics range from Talmud and Halacha to Chassidus and Jewish philosophy.

An educational-therapeutic framework for children with developmental delays. Includes three special education kindergartens and comprehensive therapy center with art therapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and Snoezelen sensory rooms.

Hospital Visits and Family Support
Emotional and practical support for families dealing with serious illness, including ready-made food, emotional aid, and a listening ear. Our emissaries visit patients offering warm meals, kind words, and human support.

Discreet Chesed Markets
A unique internal system of "chesed mini-markets" that allow families to shop with dignity, using a private point-based system. Families receive access to internal stores or shopping vouchers to choose what they need.
